The Coalition for Responsible
Siting of LNG Facilities, in conjunction with Green Futures, has developed
this “Citizen Action List” that will list items that each person
can do to stop LNG facilities from being sited in populated areas. Each of
us can make a difference in this fight.
1. Sign a petition
and take a blank petition home. Have your entire family sign it. Take it
to your neighbors and bring it to work. The Coalition’s address
is at the bottom of every petition. Mail it back to the Coalition by April
7th.
2. Write a letter to your U.S. Senators, U.S. Congressmen,
Governor and the State Attorney General of Massachusetts.
3. Make
sure to sign the sign-up list. This list will be used by the Coalition to
contact you for upcoming events and keep you informed of what is
taking place.
4. If you know of an organization that would like to
help please contact the Coalition by calling 508-646-3616. The Coalition
will also send speakers to any group that would like a
presentation. If you do belong to an organization or church group, request
that they join the coalition.
